Save Concorde Group – Livingstones Travel World Collaboration

If there was ever a plane that could stop traffic or make everyone look to the skies, then that plane was Concorde. A fantastic feat of Anglo-French engineering, it took air travel to a hitherto different level. However that has now been lost to future generations with the last flight taking place over a decade ago.

This is where the Save the Concorde Group comes in. The group was set up with the stated intention of returning at least one Concorde to heritage flight so that the British public and aeroplane enthusiasts the world over could once again, or indeed for the first time, see this marvellous technological creation taking to the air.

Well over 20,000 members of the British public signed up to support this important project to protect our aviation heritage and Livingstone’s Travel World is happy to support such a worthy cause, a cause which continues today.

One of our company founders, Fred Finn, is also Honorary President of the Group. Through this connection we are organising a series of absolutely unique tours packed with notable historic and cultural interests especially for aviation enthusiasts and supporters of the iconic Concorde. We will be passing on a commission from each tour to generate extra funds that will assist the Group achieve its aims.
